On May 30, Massive Equipment Rental & Sales Ltd. hosted over 20 construction workers to a free education seminar to discuss the fine points of light construction equipment operation and its safe use. The seminar was held at the offices of Massive in Industrial park and was lead by Multiquip’s International Sales Manager, Mr. Jose Hernandez.
Massive has been the official Cayman Islands dealer for Multiquip products for the past eight years, with the quality of the products demonstrated daily in their extensive use in the rental sector here. Mr. Hernandez presented a short ‘hands on’ seminar in the proper handling and safe use of power trowels, plate compactors, rammers, and small jobsite generators. “We had a very good reception from the participants. For many it was the first formal instruction in the correct techniques designed to make a job safer and more efficient”, remarked Mr. Hernandez. All participants received free Multiquip and Massive gear and t-shirts and were treated to a casual reception after the main seminar to have the opportunity to ask direct questions of Mr. Hernandez.
